MC ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Wire Type
MC ELV Wire Type parameter has been available since 2022 UR-2. The purpose of the parameter is to show the cable in extra low voltage circuits. You can change the cable to this parameter by using Manage Circuit/Set Circuit Properties functions. Remember that Revit doesn't have wire information in ELV circuits, the parameter is provided by MagiCAD.
Older projects might have cable data already in place in extra low voltage circuits. You might have used e.g. MC Cable ID parameter for this purpose. If you have written manually cables into some certain parameter already in your circuits and you have updated MagiCAD, you can populate MC ELV Wire Type parameters by using Spreadsheet collaboration tools. Just add e.g. MC Cable ID and MC ELV Wire Type Parameters to spreadsheet, copy values from MC Cable ID to MC ELV Wire Type and import changed values back to project. NOTE!! Wire type HAS to be exactly same as found from the project under MEP Settings --> Electrical Settings --> Wiring types. You must not manually write anything to the MC ELV Wire Type parameter.
